However, you can also use your old brand, if it already contains hydrogen peroxide as the main component.

• You can make home teeth whitening kit by your own with hydrogen peroxide. It is the oldest and the most trusted product for making teeth whiter and brighter. You can make your own hydrogen peroxide based toothpaste by mixing adequate amount of baking soda with it. Mix these two ingredients well and make a fine paste of them. There should be no grain in the mixture. After you make the mixture, brush your teeth with it. Brush thoroughly with a soft bristled angular toothbrush, so that the bristles reach every corner of your teeth. After brushing the teeth well, rinse your mouth with plain water. Make sure, don’t swallow the paste.

• Most teeth whitening kits such as teeth whitening strips or gels contain hydrogen peroxide as the key ingredient. You can buy and use such generic kits. However, this is an expensive option. Therefore, if you can afford to buy them, you can go for it. These products work effectively in making teeth whiter and brighter.

• If you want to use teeth whitening strips, you need to apply the teeth whitening strip onto your teeth. Since such strips contain hydrogen peroxide, you can expect good result from them.

• You can also use teeth whitening tryas for making your teeth whiter. Fill it up with hydrogen peroxide gels. It should be worn for a longer period of time; more or less 5 to 6 hours. Preferably you can use it at the night. This method is slightly uncomfortable, but if you become accustomed to it, it won’t be a problem for you to continue with it.

• However, if you want to use hydrogen peroxide directly, you must mix it well with water. Take a bowl and pour half cup hydrogen peroxide into it. Now add same quantity of water into it. Use this mixture of water and hydrogen peroxide as a mouthwash. Rinse your mouth with the mixture for about 5 minutes for getting best result. You must not do this treatment more than twice a week.
